There are more considerations to a Will then just giving away your assets. There are concerns such as the maintenance of spouse to ensure their livelihood is unaffected.
So how much monthly Maintenance should a man put in his Will for his spouse?
For the beneficiary, of course the more the merrier
But when a husband plans his will, how much maintenance money should he instruct His Trustee to provide for his spouse.
Usually the testator will decide an amount based on his spouse’s monthly spending, on how much wealth he’s leaving behind, amount of insurance top up etc. The testator can add a whole lot of instructions including terms and condition to ensure the integrity of his estate.
